I don’t really know what to write. I just know I want need to. One year ago this amazing lady was taken from my life. You see people every day who you think, wow this girl is soo nice. But they dont have anything on her. Amanda Jane Butcher was beautiful. She had the heart of gold. No matter who you were, where you were from or if you were the biggest loser known to man, she appreciated you. She would pick you up on the worst of day, use her perfect hair, otherwise known as artifical curl to mock you, hit you and make you laugh. I remember once she told me that she only wrote in capital letters to make it conscious to the other conversation bearer that she was yelling, in that same convo she told me that whilst working in a jail kitchen with her church, she picked up some attractive criminals and that she would never want to die and have to come back to life, because that would be too much of a hassle. She was a freak, yet she was beautiful. I miss her trying to make everyone play basketball whether it was pouring with rain or 45 degrees, the way she would dive onto us like superman and tell us that she intended on remaining on us until we provided her with every item of lunch we had left and how she used to mock kids from ‘the shire’ because of they’re golden gates and fresh coastal air. I miss her. I miss having her to talk to every day. and i miss her writing ridiculous ‘i love amanda’ statements on every page of my year 12 diary. One year ago, and the pain seems still so fresh. Rest in peace beautiful girl, i love you always AJB. <3
